You Tried Them Now Trust Us

I had lunch today with a friend who had listed his home with an agent for more than 6 months and who did very little to sell it. This friend believed the place would sell quickly so he went ahead and went into contract for a property down in St. Petersburg Florida so that he could leave right after closing on the sale of his home in Midtown Manhattan. Guess what The NY agent had his property for 6 months and only brought in 3 offers. He did 2 open house events every weekend which most of the time meant that he was on his phone playing games because no one was coming to see the place. My friend finally got fed up and fired this agent. You know I asked him why he hired that guy. He said because his office is only a couple of blocks from the Luxury apartment and the company is always bragging about their luxury department. He thought I wouldn t have an easy time selling the place because my office is in Queens. Well lucky for him he decided to call me in. It s been 2 weeks since I got the listing and we are already headed into contract. Why Well my friends because there are agents and then there are Realtors. My team works together with inudstry leaders to get the job done. I am happy to report that our team got him 13% more than that agent had originally listed the apartment for (becasue he listed it too cheap) and we secured a buyer that is prepared to close the day the title clears.
