AIR EXPORT AGENT POSITION SUMMARY The Export Agent is responsible for processing Air freight shipments. Effectively resolve any problems and maintain focus on excellent service. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years International Air Exporting experience with a Logistics service provider - Freight Forwarder DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Close bills of lading. Print all Necessary Documents Provide Warehouse with loading docs Perform Export Clearance Check for any special requirements in documents cargo receipt Contact customers to advise shipment status or to obtain shipment information Ensure that file contains all necessary document copies in proper sequence Ensure that payable receivable docs are complete and forwarded within time constraints Trace shipment through transit - to final destination Duties and responsibilities may be added to or changed when deemed necessary by management responsible for this position QUALIFICATIONS 2 yrs experience as export coordinator with a Freight forwarder Detail oriented with strong written verbal communication skills Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
