Job Ref 1955 Relocation Yes Location Fort Wayne Indiana Area Salary Excellent Salary Summary Manufacturing facility in Indiana is looking for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator with lean certification and machining or distribution experience. Responsibilities 1. Develops and continually improves shop floor participation in the overall shop floor improvements. 2. Leads improvement events. 3. Focuses on shop floor teams departmental discussions individual input and other sources of information as appropriate. 4. Focus on 5S tooling and general process improvements. 5. Works with teams in areas such as product flow set up reduction schedule leveling and overall quality improvement. 6. Supports and or champions Capital Improvement Projects. 7. Develops methods and systems to track ongoing return on area improvements. 8. Provides input into recognition of employees advancing continuous improvement. 9. Provides direction in the collection and analysis of Production data. 10. Champions Capital Equipment Requests. 11. Must be well versed in the theory of constraints product flow tools and set up reduction. 12. Appropriate Bachelor s degree required. Engineering degree preferred. 13. Certification in lean techniques. 14. Strong verbal and written skills. 15. Distribution or Machining experience preferred. 16. Must be degreed with 5 to 7 years of experience in Continuous improvement. Full benefit program and a relocation allowance are offered. Bottom line requirements 1. Bachelor s degree required. Engineering degree preferred. 2. 5 including very recent years of experience in Continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. 3. Certification in lean techniques. 4.
