Provide detailed information about the property location amenities room features and room rates. Position Responsibilities Assist with daily monitoring of Respod activity to include call volume conversion ratesm call disposition and productivity. Communicate changing availability to reservations staff effectively to capitalize on new market conditions both current and future dates. Assist with training team on best practices upselling and cross selling strategies. Serves as primary conduit of information to necessary internal staff Corporate Sales Revenue Management and CRO. Know understand and utilize reservations systems of the property CRO and virtual phone systems. Book reservations accurately and efficiently utilizing telephone internet group booking fax rooming lists and other forms of reporting. Become familiar with occupancy levels and rate availability for all properties for various time frames in order to assist with yielding inventory management and strategy for unforeseen circumstances. Handle multiple tasks with a high level of patience tact and diplomacy while collecting accurate information. Work with the Area Reservations Manager to meet conversion percentage goals revenue achievement and reporting requirements. Gather detailed caller information and create leads for follow up as part of an outbound calling program. Input call disposition and comments for use in reports and daily monitoring. Cross see Maui Properties and assist in relocation strategies during high demand periods. Adhere to property and company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications High diploma or equivalent additional experience. 5 or more years of Reservations experience. Customer service skills. Communication skills in the English language (written and oral) High level of organization and attention to details. Basic computer knowledge including Excel Word and other software.
