This outing is limited to eighteen participants and phone pre-registration is required. Meet and sign in by 8 15am SHARP at the White House in Rancho Diana in greater Helotes area (0.8 mile down entrance road from where Menchaca Road ends). Only persons having pre-registered by phone will be authorized to enter this property. Our adventure will be jointly sponsored by The City of San Antonio Park and Recreation Department(SAPAR) The Alamo Group of The Sierra Club and the SA chapter of The Native Plant Society of Texas. The learning begins with about a 30-minute introduction by Gail Gallegos SAPAR Natural Area Division Nature Preserve Officer on the history of the property its acquisition by COSA and its layout. Rancho Diana is unique among our city Natural Areas because of its size topography and history. It is not open to the public.
