We are an ophthalmology medical practice recruiting additional staff to join our team in order to assist with research programs the development of new technology patient care and administrative assistance. We welcome you to join our team and become an integral part of an outstanding medical organization in the field of Clinical Ophthalmology in clinical care and research Our organization will consider students who have experience or an interest in medicine. This position is perfect for pre-med students or others who are looking for hands-on experience in various aspects of medicine including those mentioned above as well as office administration. Experience is a plus but we are also prepared to train motivated candidates who are willing to learn. We are seeking responsible and energetic individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Duties include Help develop and publish clinical research studies. Aid the doctors in the preparation of lectures book chapters publications and grant applications. Assist ophthalmic technicians and doctors in patient care. Support the front office in a variety of responsibilities including scheduling patient appointments preparing medical charts handling phone calls and following up on diverse correspondence. In addition you will have an opportunity to publish articles which is beneficial should you subsequently apply to medical schools.
