Service Technician

LOCATION Florence KY Cincinnati Dayton OH JOB TYPE Part Time to move to Full Time START DATE Immediate The Service Technician is responsible for installing new ATMs or banking equipment removing or relocating equipment re-programing equipment performing preventative and corrective maintenance and managing projects. Service Technician instructs customers on the operation and proper use of equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Installs removes or relocates ATMs or banking equipment. Removes or relocates equipment. Programs updates or re-programs equipment. Performs preventative and corrective maintenance. Adheres to all rules recordkeeping and document requirements. Maintains tools test equipment etc. necessary to perform duties. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs electrical equipment. Operates in the field on call or assigned directly to customer facility. Instructs customers on the operation and proper use of equipment. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE Prefer a two-year electronics or electromechanical degree. One to three years related experience and or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to convert or ability to learn binary to hexadecimal. Applied knowledge of electronic and instrumentation principles. Plans details of working procedure to determine a logical approach to problems. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITY Must have valid driver s license and able to drive vehicles hauling trailers. Must be able to pass the DOT physical and drug test. Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays. Must be able to lift and or move up to 100 pounds. Must be able stand walk use hands to finger and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to climb a ladder stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk and hear. Occasionally required to sit for long periods of time (driving to sites). Vision requirements include close vision color vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at a job site. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to work with others in a team concept. Self motivated.
