Qualifications C Experience within a Kitchen in a Hotel environment an asset C Food Safe Certificate an asset C Good physical condition as position is physically demanding C Must have strong communication skills C Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills C Team player and a self-starter C Ability to work independently and effectively as required Responsibilities Include C Ensure all cutlery glassware dishes and pots are clean sanitized and organized in the appropriate storage areas. C Set-up cooking and prep areas with the appropriate cooking supplies and utensils. C Ensure recycled items are placed in the appropriate areas. C Basic food prep (peeling potatoes straining stocks etc.). C Participate actively in a multi-functional cross-training team environment. C Be supportive of creativity and innovation. C Maintain a high level of professionalism and quality service. C Work towards continuous improvement and quality.
