Responsibilities include The Organizational Capability (OC) COE is dedicated to enabling the organization through building business capabilities in the areas of organizational and process design talent activation team effectiveness and change deployment management. The OC COE is focused broadly on strengthening the alignment between business priorities and organizational strategy (structure processes systems talent change culture etc.). Through specific expertise in these efforts we work to ensure Marriott International (MI) optimizes its return on human capital investments through a high performing organization. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Director Change Management & Deployment Readiness you will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of the change management and deployment strategy for a global Human Capital Management and Payroll System implementation known as Project Catapult . Project Catapult is the next step in fulfilling Marriott s vision of a single integrated Workforce Management Platform and includes the implementation of cloud-based Human Capital Management and payroll applications. Interested candidates will take on a project assignment to support this critical initiative for approximately 24 months. The exposure you will gain from the people to the tools will set you up to compete for a variety of roles across the organization at the conclusion of the project assignment. As a member of the Project Catapult team you will be working with a diverse group of stakeholders and supporting the technology of the future for Global HR. The new workforce management platform will impact associates globally and the journey will be both challenging and rewarding. As a member of the Project Catapult Leadership team you will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of the change management and deployment strategy for Project Catapult. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE You will partner with the Sr. Director of Change Management on the development of change management strategies supporting full life-cycle deployment efforts from assessment to implementation to sustainment and overseeing change management and deployment work of others Manage senior level clients stakeholders across multiple disciplines to translate business needs into change and organizational implications for Project Catapult We will look to you to design and develop complex change management and deployment strategies that will guide efforts and provide foundational change approach in support of Project Catapult CHANGE MANAGEMENT DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE You will be responsible for developing and executing the change management strategy and deployment plan for Project Catapult. Which includes o Guiding the creation of the communications and training strategies o Conducting impact analyses and stakeholder assessments to determine change management needs for impacted stakeholders o Leveraging best in class change management and deployment models and methodologies (i.e. stakeholder assessments deployment readiness checklists) to provide consistent processes tools and services to support the project o Implementing change management programs that ensure stakeholders are knowledgeable prepared and motivated for the changes and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful o Identifying and resolving issues and risks provide timely updates to leadership o Facilitating meetings reviews and work collaboratively across the organization to produce effective results o Providing input to ensure learning programs training and support materials are effective o Measuring the effectiveness of change management and deployment efforts set targets tracks results and creates plans to improve programs o Designing tools and techniques to sustain the change effort post-implementation You will partner with the Program Communications Learning Development Project Managers and Functional and Technical team leads to develop and execute the change management and deployment plan and strategy for Project Catapult YOU RE WHO WE RE LOOKING FOR IF Bachelor s degree required Graduate degree MS MBA (or equivalent) in Organizational Development Human Resources Business Management Psychology or Related Field preferred Minimum of eight years of experience in supporting or leading change management as well as exposure to consulting or related professional area Experience managing the change associated with complex global systems implementation Experience consulting to business leaders providing communication and change management support Demonstrated success working in a complex service-intensive and deadline-driven environment Skilled at managing across projects and partnering on multi-faceted deployment programs Experience developing and presenting impactful presentations that convey results recommendations to senior-level leaders Ability to work with and influence a wide range of cross-functional work teams and leaders within a matrix organization Consulting experience on human capital programs preferred
