Earth Day Ride. I ll be in the parking lot at 8 50AM KSU at 9 00AM.. (KSU kick stands up.) Heading East on Hwy. 70 to Alamogordo then Hwy. 54 to Hwy. 82.. We ll make a stop at the Chevron Station on Hwy. 82 to top off bike tanks empty human tanks (bathrooms) and refill what we just emptied (drinks). We should be at the Chevron station between 10A and 10 15A.. Then up the mountain to Cloudcroft and on to the National Solar Observatory at Sunspot We are going to brown bag lunch at the Observatory. There are some choices for food and drinks in Alamogordo when we get off the mountain later in the day. After lunch we are off to check out Timberon. Not much in Timberon but the ride to get there is great. There is a grocery store gas station in Timberon for drinks gas if needed. They don t let anyone use the bathrooms at the grocery store so I ll check out the airport Lodge and city park for bathrooms. ...
