Looking for an experienced Medical Assistant Front Desk Receptionist Administrative duties include answering telephones greeting patients scheduling appointments collecting co-pays medical records EMR correspondence verify insurance pre-authorization for supplies and procedures. Patient instructions as directed by physician Clinical duties Medical histories Prepare patients for examination and assisting the physician during the examination. Check allergies and current medication list enter vitals correct delete or add as needed to obtain correct information and note in chart. Dress wounds remove casts assist as ordered by the physician. Prepare rooms for patient exams and procedures with appropriate supplies. Maintain the supply room place orders as needed. Provides front desk support as needed. REQUIREMENTS Minimum one (1) year experience in a related field or completion of a Certified Medical Assistant course High School graduate or equivalent. Medical Terminology Course Requires excellent communication skills and a customer service attitude Computer literate (i.e. Familiarity with EMR Windows and email applications). Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to read write speak and understand English clearly. Ability to concurrently perform multiple tasks. PREFERRED Medical Assistant training (CMA) preferred Possess a genuine interest and concern for patients. Demonstrates self-motivated self-directed behavior.
