Now for many years our family has been rescuing unwanted Parrots. It all started with a 15 year old Blue and Gold Macaw. Now for 11 yrs we have been taking in and caring for Parrots. Some have needed severe help. Some have been naked from stress. Some have been babies from the nest. And Some have hated their people parents and all they did was Scream they came to us and within a short while they were stepping up and not plucking or screaming anymore. Some took more time than others.. truth be told I have a one on one connection with feathered friends of all sizes. Here is how we help. - First off I want you to understand I do Not Buy Birds. - I rescue Them from an array of situations. - They all get vet checked nail and beak trimmed as needed. - They need to come with their cage you need to understand they need a safe place when they are moved into a different location. - They are socialized played with put on proper diet. - They learn not to fear a hand. - If they have issues with Bad Words we work with them to counter act that the best way we can. - After they have met all that we have worked hard with they will have a chance at being adoption to another family. - We Do charge a reasonable adoption fee. ( vet and care cost only ) - Everyone will go threw an adoption app. ( vet references home and job requirements are required ) - They must read Parrots for Dummies and have questions asked in detail. Even if they already have a parrot - When a perfect home is found then the parrot will go threw a trial visits from their new adopters. - They must be a Perfect Match for them and for the Bird. - The Parrot will always come back to me if something doesn t work out. - Adoption fee s are Non- Refundable. - Parrots have been with us as long as 2 yrs until the perfect home is found. - But as little time as a few months Birds do come to us as sometimes people get Parrots and don t relize how much they are to take care of and there is nothing wrong with them. But we have openings for a least 10 at this time. We have had as many as 23 Birds at one time and as little as one. We now have a Yellow Nap Amazon (Senior) but you Can be put on a waiting list if your looking for a different kind of bird. This Amazon is about 10yrs old very quite guy You can handle him but only on his terms. He is in a borrowed Cage at the time his cage was tossed as it was rusty bad and was scrapped. He does have a adoption fee. We understand how hard things are right now on everyone. We LOVE all parrots no matter what is wrong with them or the situation they are currently in. We are here to Help You and the Parrot.
