Divan Japonais Color Lithograph after Toulouse Lautrec

Original 1895 lithograph in colors on wove paper after Toulouse-Lautrec. A lifetime impression. A fine impression in black orange yellow and olive. Transcribed from Lautrec s 1893 poster of the same title by artisans at Atelier Ch ret and issued as plate 2 (of 256) in the series Les Ma tres de l Affiche (The Masters of the Poster) bearing the blindstamp of the monogram (Lugt 1777c) in the sheet lower right. Published by Jules Cheret and printed at Impremiere Chaix (Atelier Cheret) Paris. Conservation framed in antique gold moulding and finished with off-white linen matting and liner matting is cut to expose the blindstamp. All materials are archival and museum quality. Set behind a UV resistant acrylic cover. Framed size is 24-1 8 H inches x 20-5 8 inches W (61.2 cm x 52.4 cm).
