This is a long term contract that will start after a successful background check and credentialing are completed. Excellent Compensation & Comprehensive Benefits Full Time Position Days Monday-Friday NO Weekends NO Holidays NO Call PTO & 10 Paid Federal Holidays Position Summary Our prime candidate have sufficient experience to be able to perform tasks include but are not limited to consulting with consultants provide medical advice over the telephone complete all required paperwork obtain an adequate history physical assessment and develop a treatment plan in a timely and appropriate manner on each patient utilize paraprofessionals respond to and provide initial management of cardiopulmonary arrests and arrange back up from Emergency Medical Services (EMS) make preliminary interpretation of electrocardiograms be knowledgeable and possess skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients. The individual to the patient population served Infants Children Adolescent Adults and Geriatric (> 65).Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of three years of successful clinical practice orthopedic experience is required. Candidate must be a graduate of a Physician s Assistant educational program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) on behalf of the American Medical Association have a current certification as a Physician s Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCC Physician s Assistant) possess a current unrestricted license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty States the District of Columbia the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands must have documentation of current Drug Enforcement Agency number possess current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) sponsored by the American Heart Association current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and must be a citizen of the United States.
