The Utah Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) will host a WWII North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber June 9-16 2014 at the Heber Valley Airport (36U). The visiting B-25 is the Maid in the Shade from the Arizona Wing of the CAF. The B-25 played an important role in WWII. It was an American twin-engine medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation. It was used by many Allied air forces in every theater of WWII as well as many other air forces after the war ended and saw service across four decades. The CAF is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to restoring maintaining and flying WWII aircraft for the purpose of honoring veterans and educating the general public about the importance of WWII.
