Hello My name is Jessy. Im a stay at home mother who has a soft spot for rabbits. I currently have a small home-based rabbit rescue located in west palm beach. I take in rabbits from owners that need to rehome them due to various reasons and I care for them until I find forever homes. There is no time limit. They stay with me until a new home is secured even if that is indefinately. I have both indoor and outdoor enclosures so I can cater to your rabbit s current preference. I am knowledgable and am very familiar with rabbit husbandry. My residents get fed Purina Rabbit chow as well as rabbit friendly treats and fresh greens daily. I take this very seriously and am more then happy to help you in your time of need. Common reasons rabbits are rehomed to me are Moving relocating and theres a no pet policy Thought I had 2 males females and now there are babies (unexpected litter and no clue how to care for them) allergies dogs other pets are harassing it My children are no longer interested Going back to college. Behavioral Issues ( cage aggression bucking when picked up screaming etc) Lacks basic socializaton (skittish screams not social at all) Found bunny and no owner was ever located MANY MORE Whatever the reason may be I am happy to help I have 4 children (3 of which are over 5) that LOVE to spoil the bunnies with me. They get daily exercise up to 2 hours and supervised of course outside time all the attention they could ever want and of course they are kept in sanitary conditions and fed quality food and treats. If you have a rabbit you need a place for feel free to contact me. As I stated this is a home-based rabbit rescue so space does tend to fill up quickly. I can take your rabbit in immediately if you donate a cage with him her. I do ask that a bag of the food they are currently eating (open is perfectly alright) come with them so that I may slowly blend it with the purina to get them on my brand of choice. Rabbits have EXTREMELY DELICATE digestive tracts so this has to be done slowly so as not to cause GI stasis or worse. Well I suppose that sums it up for now.
