The Appliance Guys are looking to hire a knowledgeable hardworking dedicated team player who is able to ensure fast flexible and expert service to every customer via excellent time management skills. Must be able to repair adjust or install all types of electric and or gas household appliances such as refrigerators washers dryers and ovens. Job duties to include but not limted to Service Technician 1) Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment -- Servicing repairing adjusting and testing machines devices moving parts and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (not electronic) principles.2) Inspecting Equipment Structures or Material -- Inspecting equipment structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects in appliances 3) Repairing -- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.4) Equipment Maintenance -- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.5) Troubleshooting -- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.6) Quality Control Analysis -- Conducting tests and inspections of products services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.7) Active Listening -- Giving full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.8) Critical Thinking -- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.9) Operation Monitoring -- Watching gauges dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.10) Speaking -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.11) Equipment Selection -- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. We are looking for some 40 hours a week Monday thru Friday and sometimes the occasional Saturday is needed.
