Responsibilities Job will consist of grinding welding operating cranes using hand and power tools & fabrication Will require assembly finishing and fine-tuning of dies Will perform preventative maintenance on dies and die modification May carry out emergency repairs if any issues arise. Good teamwork organization and communication skillsQualifications Requirements Skilled craftspeople must possess at least 4 years of experience building repairing and or maintaining high volume stamping dies and knowledge of welding ability and hand finishing skills. Outer surface panel experience Reading technical drawings Knowledge of sharpening and polishing dies Able to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision Experience with progressive dies and sheet metal stamping operations for press lines including adjusting vacuum suction cups Will require extensive travel to support our clients at press shops and die making companies in the US Canada and International Will require daily log book entries to communicate activities issues and progress of work.
