Responsibilities Diagnose repairs and overhaul engines transmissions carburetors differentials brakes mechanical components electrical and fuel systems etc. for vintage automobiles. Adjust or repair hydraulic systems and components. Identify all parts necessary to complete a service project order parts including those that are difficult to locate. Restore interior upholstery. Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions troubleshooting breakdowns maintaining supplies performing preventive maintenance calling for repairs. Owning and maintaining tools required to complete projects Qualifications Must be eighteen years or older. 5 years of similar experience The knowledge skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and or GED.
