RARE Limited Edition Ma Bell AT& T Phone Booth 1976 RARE Vary Few Made Limited Edition Made for Ma Bell AT& T Stores in 1976 not all the stores got one of These Phone Booths. This was before cell phones so there where vary few stores across the US. They were to celebrate their 100th Centennial Birthday also the United States Bicentennial. Built of Oak and wire Glass. Light on ceiling that lights up when door closes it also lights up three sign s one on front and left and right sides of the outside saying Telephone. Wired glass on left and right side. Bi-fold door with 4 sections of weird glass from top to bottom. Floor is painted press-wood Seat and shelf is laminated oak press-wood. It has the old Edison styled wood phone converted to a rotary style phone Which is now vintage. You still talk in the mouth piece on the phone and listen with the ear piece on the cord. It has the old crank handle on the upper right side that rings the bell on the top front of the phone. On the bottom of the phone it has a small cabinet for pen and paper. Phone has a small brass plaque that reads Bell System Americana Edition Circa 1882. It is set up and in use at this time. It rings with the rest of the phones in the house. THIS PHONE BOOTH IS IN GREAT CONDITION. There is a little wear on the edge of the seat. Check out the Photo s Email me if you would like to see more
