Key Responsibilities Assist with offering a caring safe clean and nurturing environment. Assist with daily duties such as serving snacks lunches diapering and cleaning. Assist with classroom and playground activities when needed. Maintain schedule and procedures as established by using good classroom management positive discipline and role modeling techniques. Serve as subsitute teacher in the absence of head teacher.Required skills experience The qualified caregiver assistant will have related work experience in childcare or early education. Will have a High School GED or vocational institute diploma. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand during the work shift. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required in order to interact well with head teacher parents and children.Desired skills experience A 40-hour DCF certificate.This position will be Monday through Friday. Hours may vary.
