My client is a well-established bank situated in Montreal Quebec. They are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Banking Sector-pay-18.16 hr) This is a 6 months contract with a very high possibility of extension. (Temp to Perm Position) Job Overview Summary Responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities Resolve customers service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise refunding money and adjusting bills. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions recording details of inquiries complaints and comments as well as actions taken. Skills and Competencies Verbal and written communication skills attention to detail customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one s time. Ability to comprehend and communicate in more than one language. Ability to accurately document and record customer client information. Previous experience with computer applications such as MS Outlook or data entry software. Education Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 to 3 years customer service related experience required. Education and Accreditation Completed high school education or equivalent work experience Qualifications English and French expert level Passion for helping customers Sales and service oriented with a demonstrated ability to proactively listen identify sales opportunities and solve problems Strong communication skills (over the telephone and in person) Solid computer and multi-tasking skills Team player Work Schedule Condition Full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week) 18.16 an hour plus night bonus- Information will be further provided 2 months training is provided with the 18.16 hr pay. Required to be available several weekends (Saturday and Sunday) Day Training During the training period candidates must be available for a seven week period from Monday to Friday 8 30 a.m. to 5 30 p.m. for the theoretical training and between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the practical training.
