Original Colonial Candle and Vase 3 Piece set Glass

This is a 1700s Glass set of two Candle holders and a vase. The came out of a Virginia Plantation home. They are extremely rare there is a set jut like it in the State Department In D.C. They are 11 inches high and the candle sets in the very bottom giving good protection against fire. They would set in a grand hallway on a table and would often light it throughout the night. They are a green glass with pontils barely polished and are full of the defects that showed in our early glass blowing industry. Only the rich would own these. I took photos of the candle holders only the vase is still packed up hundreds of years without breaking I am not going to be the first. Yes they are hand blown and no they can not be duplicated today. See my other ads for rare items and my book this catagory on how to find them. J.P.goodwin Author and former antique dealer.
