Experiencia Preparatory Academy seeks to hire a full-time High School Principal for the 2014 2015 school year. Candidates must speak Spanish and have an understanding of Spanish culture. Responsibilities Initiate monitor and supervise the implementation of program components and the school improvement plan to ensure alignment with the Academy s mission philosophies and best practices Outline professional development activities for the year and participate in the majority of the training maintain a calendar log of attendance Oversee and be accountable for all compliance report Oversee and monitor all staff and make recommendations for hiring and termination Review all incoming student record Oversee the proctoring of standardized testing Oversee the technology plan Participate in the teacher evaluation process and reviews including classroom observation Recruit students and maintain a stable student base Determine the annual budget and oversee expenditures and funding Oversee and approve all communications including staff and student communication Direct curriculum development along with the Educational Service Provider Coordinate the review of all resources that will be included in the curriculum Knowledgeable about all Academy events and attend important events ensure appropriate administrative coverage and all appropriate procedures are followed at events Interpret and communicate student achievement data and target goals Implement the Academy s school safety procedures Provide students with support and advice related to academic career and technical performance if applicable Work with staff to assure student compliance with policies and procedures.
