Experienced Trailer - Commercial Truck Driver (OTR & Local) Needed CDL A drivers needed with experience to transport high end exotic cars OTR to all 48 states and Canada. Also drivers needed to run local and regional routes delivering furniture & household. Must have a good driving record and background. Having a TWIC card is a plus. Must meet all state federal and DOT requirements. Competitive pay benefits and 401K. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to) Must have knowledge with and the ability to operate equipment including the productive safe movement of combination vehicles along with some basic computer skills. Must be capable of repetitive lifting of up to 75 pounds and must be able to stand sit and walk for extended periods of time. Must be capable of constantly entering and exiting the vehicle for a prolonged period of time. Must be familiar with the material handling vehicles trailers containers and radio frequency equipment. Must comply with all DOT OSHA and MSDS standards. Ensure adherence to all current SOP s and load integrity standards. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Communicate with the supervisor all necessary information concerning issues and discrepancies with quality inventory and shipment discrepancies. Work safely and in compliance with all Plycon Plycar Safety procedures and work rules. Maintain the level of productivity set by Plycon Plycar. Maintain the Trailer yard in clean safe condition free of debris and hazards. Other duties as assigned by leadership team. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Strong oral and written communications skills. Able to read write speak and understand English. One (1) year of experience with operating yard equipment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with little supervision. Self-starter skills and able to work independently. Strong customer service skills. Able to meet deadlines and to exercise reasonable judgment. Excelled in current position in safety accuracy productivity and relate well to fellow teammates.
