Florence Distribution Specialist Great Opportunity with Great Company Start next week Pay Rate 9.00 hr 1.00 hr bonus for perfect attendance 1st shift-6am-2 30pm M-F Overtime available but not mandatory Job Description Overview Employee works in a warehouse environment and functions on a team performing multiple duties exemplifying total quality service thereby ensuring parts are efficiently received inventoried packaged and shipped to multiple customers. Work schedule for operation includes multiple shifts. Duties are primarily semi-skilled with various physical requirements. Since changing business requirements necessitate movement the work location may be any of several departments. Duties and Responsibilities (Essential) Manually inspect count and sort all received parts and components. Compare information against packing slips. Complete appropriate forms and enter data into computer database. Utilize manual and motorized equipment to move incoming and or outgoing parts to predetermine warehouse locations. Follow bills of material picking documents and or blueprints to determine and obtain parts set-up lay-out sort count and package various parts into kits. Fold and label boxes for kit storage. Complete information via computer on parts to breakdown sort and distribute according to customers written orders. Verify shipments during order consolidation and box seal complete customer order. Complete appropriate forms. Complete tasks as scheduled by following established methods and policies and procedures. Exercise judgement and initiative in planning ahead anticipating problems and completing various job assignments. Utilize prescribed safety equipment and operate powered industrial equipment and machinery according to specified instructions. Demonstrate the ability to recognize potential safety hazards. (Non-Essential) Maintain an open and honest relationship with team members and management. Support the effort s of the team. Manage own time for task completion. Reports to work area on time and seeks additional work when time permits. Clean pickup immediate work area. Work Conditions Indoor facility temperature and humidity fluctuate with the seasons Noise and Dust Working around moving objects and vehicles Working closely with others Equipment a) Industrial Motorized vehicles( forklift picker tow motor) b) Manual material handling equipment c) Scales d) Packaging Machinery e) RF computer system Mandatory Skills Function Operations Functional Abilities Lifting and carrying parts ranging from (1) ounce to (50) pounds Grasping and moving parts ranging in size Walking and standing for (8) hours per day Repeated bending twisting stooping reaching (1) to (4) hours per day. Identifying parts reading instructions entering data and completing appropriate forms. Communicating with team members other department and customers. Education Experience High School Diploma Work Experience (1) year prefer (2) or more.
