TPS is currently helping students and schools in 10 states and is ready to expand.TPS has built a massive data base that includes every school in the USA broken into individual territories within each state. We want our Managers to become advocates for their schools identify each of their schools needs and then work with the TPS management to prepare a plan to meet those needs. TPS managers engage each school s administration and counselor teams and introduce to them by whatever means necessary our plan with the express goal of helping key leadership understand the benefits of our powerful programs. The TM s job includes making sales presentations and the selling of our Seminars and Boot Camps to schools within the designated territory. The TMs will be responsible to routinely visit the schools in the designated territory with the additional purpose of delivering various valuable marketing materials created to be helpful to the administrators and students. The advocate role of the TM will be to identify the various needs of the school as related to College Readiness benchmarks. This is key as states are using these benchmarks to grade the schools and hold accountable the administrators running them. TPS programs are perfectly situated to immediately help these schools and administrators raise their scores now that s being an advocate The TM will typically find that many of the schools within the designated territory will have issues with budget shortfalls or doubts about student or parental participation. It will be the TM s job to let the schools know that as their advocate he she will move heaven and earth to help their school and students take advantage of TPS s programs and will try to use one of many scholarships or creative programs to help them. Successful advocates are building lasting relationships with their schools and its administrators. The schools administrators students realize our managers care. Schools typically reward their valuable vendors with years and years of business and introductions to their friends and peers at other schools. Territory Managers will work together with TPS personnel to plan the initial sales campaign and on a weekly daily basis to help accomplish the yearly sales goals. TMs will help schools promote attendance at Boot Camps and Seminars. TMs must file weekly activity reports with the home office be accountable for the routine visits to schools seek out and meet with others that can open the doors via referrals to additional business. Potential Referral sources include but are not limited to PTOs or PTAs Coaches the school business manager involved parents alumni associations and community organizations etc. TMs will need to maintain their inventory (your schools) keep up to date records in the Calendars and TPS Customer Relationship Manager database (CRM) attend annual company meeting (usually in January) attend appropriate identified conferences and other duties to accomplish sales goals. Job Requirements The ideal candidate must have a desire to see America s youth succeed in higher education. a desire to see yourself succeed. a Smartphone with data email capabilities and use it to conduct business. If you lack this skill but are awarded the position we will work with you to recommend the best Smartphone and plan for you. a laptop or desktop computer with Microsoft Windows 7 and above. All TPS work functions require an active internet connection. time management and independent work follow-up skills. reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance. approved fingerprinting and background check that meet state federal requirements (applicant s expense and must be in place before training commences). energetic and engaging communication skills. the ability to engage with school administrators. prior sales or teaching education experience or way to personally relate to educators.
