Job Description Meets daily operational and production requirements thorugh a hands on management approach by organizing work resolving operational problems and developing staff. Organizes work by reviewing production planning requirements and preparing machine changeovers. Keeps equipment opertaing by following operating instructions torubleshooting breakdowns maintaining supplies performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs. Obtains materials and supplies by inventorying stock placing orders and verifying packing slips receipts. Meets production requirements by follwing and enforcing productivity quality cost and customer service standards and resolving operational problems. Improves quality results by identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing changes. Updates job knowledge by participating in training and development opportunities. Job Requirements Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse manufacturing environment. Must display good common sense and discretion in decision making and in the performance of the day to day tasks. Good people skills Ability to communicate effectively Must have good follow through and able to hold people accountable Must have strong planning and organizational skills Ability to make good decisions and solve problems in a timely manner Must be flexible to work other job functions Must be able to operate a sit down fork lift competently.
