Develop and deliver up to date technical training on Cummins products. Evaluate the Students comprehension and overall ability in providing the highest standard of service to our customers. Monitor the training needs of Cummins Pacific and Dealers and communicate those needs to the Training Manager. Some tasks include Build in the students a safety first work ethic. Deliver the highest quality training possible. Maintain an expert knowledge level of Cummins products and procedures. Properly evaluate the students ability and knowledge. Be a confidence builder but maintain the integrity of the training program. Maintain the training equipment in good working order and appearance. Stay familiar with a variety of the field s concepts practices and procedures. Keep training material updated and available for each class. Monitor class registration for future classes. Requirements Minimum five years of experience and a basic knowledge of the Cummins distributor service department operation. Working knowledge of Cummins product lines and Cummins engine and generator troubleshooting skills and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that include the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong mechanical electrical wiring electronics knowledge and hands-on experience. Strong problem solving skills. Strong computer skills (PC programs Word Excel etc. Cummins applications INSITE InPower Lotus Notes etc.). Strong initiative self-motivated and requires minimal supervision with high technical credibility. Experience in workplace training. Willing and able to travel throughout Cummins Pacific territory to deliver training. Physical Requirements Seeing standing walking bending lifting carrying pushing pulling reaching balancing kneeling stooping exposure to hazards weather noise vibration and moving equipment while training. Speaking and hearing while working with co-workers and delivering training. Vision for using computer phone paperwork and while training.
