Our client is well established Insurance Board looking Data Modeling & SQL Analyst Cognos SAS ISPF Location Downtown Toronto Duration 3 month contract position with strong possibility of further extension Summary Cognos Reports & SQL Analyst Developer Knowledge & Skills Must Have s 10 years of comprehensive Data Modelling and SQL experience including exposure to other analytic platforms and data processing methods Strong database skills including data modeling and SQL Experience in designing and developing data validation processes and scripts Strong track record for delivering projects Experience in analyzing and documenting reporting requirements Strong communications skills (oral and written) Must have at least 5 years experience using Cognos for reports development NICE TO HAVE Experience in the public sector Facilitation background and or experience Technology background Working knowledge of SAS and ISPF (Mainframe utilities) Resource Responsibilities Analyze validation rules for data used in ACES analytical reports Participate in workshops to gather validation rules. Perform data analysis document technical specifications and develop SQL queries to implement validation rules Analyze business rules to monitor the quality of ACES master data Participate in workshops to gather business rules to monitor data quality for ACES master data.
