We are a Corporate Apparel Embroidery Silk Screen Printing and Promotional Products Company We are a Corporate Apparel Embroidery Printing and Promotional Products Company looking for a motivated individual to join our embroidery production department. As an Embroidery Machine Operator you will work in a production based high output environment to produce custom decorated garments using multi head Tajima Embroidery Machines. While experience is a key foundation to the position and machine operation we are willing to train any candidates that are hard working willing to learn and able to handle a fast pace with a deadline driven production schedule. Position Summary Operates multi-head embroidery machine in an efficient manner to meet productions and goals and ensure quality. Responsibilities Operate multi-head machine including programming ensuring thread tensions correct check work order against hard copy Hoop garments with accurate placement Inspect garments for quality Trimming after garments have been embroidered and Folding bagging and packing garments. Production room clean up Perform daily maintenance and ensure product quality Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned such as cleaning inventory and helping in other areas of our companies. Requirements Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to remain on your feet and be active for the majority of an 8 hour work day Ability to read and understand basic English Demonstrated ability to be a team player Demonstrated ability to be reliable and dependable to complete work assignments Strong attention to detail Maintain a positive attitude MUST have transportation and cell phone Back ground check required Salary or Hourly pay is and will be associated with work experience Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job employee will regularly stand walk stoop lift kneel and crouch This is a contract employment position with varying work hours and days within a Monday through Friday 1st shift work week for 90 days with the exception of some holidays and work related events subject to performance appraisal with possibility of permanent hire.
