Job SummaryCompressor Testing Dip tank air leak test Ground High Potential electrical test Full Run Simulation Test Basic AssemblyFollow written verbal and drawn assembly instructions for small (less than 40 hp) units. Use basic hand tools to install kitted parts and insert crank shaft into bearings assemble rods pins pistons and attach them to crank shaft. Attach valve plates and covers to each head assembly and oil pump bearing housings. Apply appropriate gaskets seals fluid and pressure ports and valves. Attach any other accessory that order calls for. Use overhead handling equipment. Other duties as assigned. Compressor Painting Prep compressor for painting tape and apply covers Spray paint the compressors by manufacturer color Maintain and clean painting equipment spray booth Warehouse Logistics Build shipping containers and other packaging components as needed Operate overhead and mobile handling equipment Prepare Serial Numbers for compressors being shipped Accurately box and label compressors for shipping Receive incoming deliveries Operate forklift and other dock equipment (chocks levelers etc.) to load unload shipments and deliveries Use neat and legible handwriting to fill out all appropriate forms tags reports etc. related to shipping receiving Manage finished goods stocking Manage dead core logistics stocking movement to disassembly area Use good housekeeping and organizational skills to maintain a clean orderly and safe work and warehouse area Other duties as assigned Personal Qualifications Good housekeeping and organizational skills to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
