Chiropractic Asistant Job Description The Chiropractic Assistant will primarily be responsible for assisting and working alongside the Chiropractor and other members of the team in servicing the needs of our patients. This position records and maintains patient files answers incoming phone calls and schedules patient appoinments. This role is also responsible for preparing treatment rooms and answering general chiropractic questions concerning patient treatment procedures. Job Duties Greet patients and ensure they are signed in and have completed all medical forms. Guide patients to treatment rooms. Prepare treatment rooms for each patient providing any required supplies and or setting up any necessary equipement for the Chiropractor. Answer any questions a patient may have regarding the procedures for their visits. Obtain payments at time of visits. Record and file patients medical and appointment informations in paper form and on Eclipse software. Answer phones and schedule appointments while responding to all inquiries. Provide patient and family education and support to address their needs. Maintain the comfort privacy and dignity of each patient in the delivery of services to them. Be responsible for the administrative duties as required e.g. filing photocopying and sending faxes. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Demonstrate ablility to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Ability to function within an interdisciplinary team. Ability to adapt to work effectively within a variety of situations and with various individuals or groups. Able to deal with sensitive patients tactfully diplomactically and professionally at all times. Must be able to multi-task and have good time management skills. Problem solving skills. Strong morals and ehtics along with a commitment to patient privacy.
