DESCRIPTION Intact. A 15th Century Thai Green Glazed Ceramic Vessel from the Sukhothai kilns. The jar has a flat wire cut base in a heavy tan to gray fabric with many dark gritty inclusions and a thick metallic green glaze covering the surface from inside the mouth down to about the upper two-thirds of the body. A pair of horizontal handles rest at the top of the wide shoulder one handle in-filled with glaze. A short neck rises to the narrow slightly splayed open mouth.
