The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment be a self-starter have excellent problem solving communication and customer service skills and will work well with other people. Education and Work Experience Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance required. One to three year s work experience preferred but not required. Experience in the real estate property management industry a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word a plus. This is an entry-level position and specific job-related training will be provided during the course of employment. The Property Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to Analyzing and interpreting financial information as well as accurately compiling and reporting this information for an assigned portfolio of properties. Preparing monthly quarterly and annual Financial Statements for an assigned portfolio of properties and delivering them to property management and asset management for review. Monitoring adherence to audit requirements and ensuring full compliance in accordance with regulatory agencies. Maintaining regular contact and building solid working relationships with property management and asset management teams within assigned properties thus ensuring a high level of customer service.
