The Early Learning Center of Upper Saddle River is currently seeking candidates to work as Childcare Providers beginning in September. Must be able to provide a warm nurturing safe and stimulating environment for infants through six years of age. Responsibilities Understands and supports the mission of the YWCA of Bergen County. Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Programs the child care provider will provide an environment that is in keeping with sound principles of child development and encourage participation of children in various activities. Prepare materials used by the children in activities. Share information or concerns about the children with the Director. Assist in the maintenance of up to date required records of children. Attend staff meetings in service workshops and professional meetings. Establish and maintain good communication with parents on a daily informal basis. Report all maintenance concerns including any broken equipment to the Director. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Have a minimum of a High School diploma experience with young children preferred. Able to lift a 40 lb. child for reassurances cuddling and diaper changing. Hours Monday to Friday- 3pm to 7pm.
