Youngstown Ohio Manufacturer is seeking a Machinery Cost Estimator Proposal Support Engineer to assist the sales team with the preparation of presentation to potential customers REQUIREMENTSBachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 2 year s experience working in an industrial machinery manufacturing preferably in a steel processing industry Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical machine drawings and specifications Past experience as a cost estimating engineer sizing components calculating customer requirements building and presenting documentation to support the RFQ Research and maintain knowledge on market trends and needs assisting the sales team to identify potential customers and markets Experience in the steel manufacturing industry preferred Knowledge of process equipment such as valves differential pressure transmitters actuators transducers pressure sensing devices flow control devices analyzer devices temperature transmitter devices and related components associated with thermal processing equipment.
