One of our well established banking client is looking for Unilingual Bilingual Financial Customer Service Representative - (Financial Industry Exp) Duration 3 Months contract with high possibility of extension. Location Nanaimo BC Hours of Operation Monday Thursday 7 00 AM to 7 00 PM Fri 7 00 AM to 6 00 PM and Sat 9 00 AM to 5 00 PM . Candidate must be available to work rotating shifts flexibility required to work evenings & weekends Please only forward resume in English MS Word Document Must Have Excellent written and verbal communication skill Call Centre Experience Customer Service Experience Banking Experience Summary The main function of a Contact Centre customer service specialist is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service specialist is responsible for determining the client s issue offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound outbound or a combination of both. Job Requirements Previous Call Centre and banking experience is an asset Must display a high professional manner along with sound judgment and decision making skills You are passionate about providing superior customer service and are comfortable engaging in conversations regarding the customer s financial situation while being challenged with meeting and exceeding your productivity targets You possess excellent listening and verbal communication skills and demonstrate a sincere approach to helping others You are a self-starter who will take the initiative to obtain solutions and are able to stay focused pay attention to detail and follow established operating procedures You are comfortable working independently and within a team environment. Strong negotiating skills Proficiency using PC applications including strong keyboarding skills and the ability to work with multiple technological platforms and product systems Be proactively engaged in identifying and recommending opportunities and solutions for process improvements A commitment to self-development with a passion for goal achievement Ability to adapt to a changing work environment Candidate must be available to work rotating shifts flexibility required to work evenings & weekends Job Responsibilities Resolve customers service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise refunding money and adjusting bills. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions recording details of inquiries complaints and comments as well as actions taken. Skills Verbal and written communication skills attention to detail customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one s time. Ability to accurately document and record customer client information. Previous experience with computer applications such as MS Outlook or data entry software.
