Asphalt Paving Estimator (Columbia) compensation 55 000- 70 000 We are currently seeking an individual for the ASPHALT PAVING ESTIMATOR position for our Southern Middle Tennessee area located in Columbia TN. This position will report directly to the General Manager Construction. JOB SUMMARY The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to Prepares bid packages estimates analysis of subcontractor bids etc. for various sized commercial and public projects. Interfaces with customer architects engineers and contractors to provide information for cost data regarding project feasibility. Scheduling of crews subs and coordination of material shipments. Handle customer complaints if required by site. Maintains current accurate information on pricing and cost variance. Follows up on job progress and status of estimates. Assists in compiling annual reports and budgets. Assists with input of information for preparation of segment business plan. May be called upon by the manager to perform other duties. Performs responsibilities included but not limited to those listed. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field. 5 years of combined experience in asphalt estimating sales and supervision. Knowledge of the local customer base and competition is strongly preferred. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven record of being a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision. This client provides extensive benefits strong compensation annual incentive and company vehicle.
