Hiring for Seasonal Temporary PositionsPowell Outdoor Services is currently hiring for temporary positions during the winter months to provide Snow removal services. We are currently accepting applications for Equipment operators plow truck drivers and shovelers.Winter positions 10 hr. to start.Individuals in this classification must be available for emergency work calls at anytime including nights weekends and holidays with a response time of no greater than 30 minutes. Acceptance of an appointment to this classification signifies that the individual is aware of this requirement and will comply with it. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to During snow removal season you must be willing to work all hours of the day while on call 24 7 During snow removal season responsibilities may include clearing driveways & parking lots with shovels plow and or snow blower as well as applying de-icing salting materials to walkways parking lots.Physical working conditions Exposure to loud noise Frequently responds to emergencies outside regular work hours and may work weekends and holidays Must be willing and be physically able to work in extreme temperatures (cold) variable weather conditions for long periods of timeNecessary Special Requirements The following conditions must be met and maintained in order to be employed and to continue employment Must be willing to respond to emergencies outside regular work hours and work weekends and holidays. Must provide the supervisor with a telephone number where you can be reached for the purposes of responding to an emergency. Must have valid driver s license Prior exp. in snow removal a plus.
