One of our Major banking client is looking for Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Capital Markets Fixed Income Regulatory and Compliance Exp.) Duration 10 Months contract with possible extension Location Downtown Toronto This role will move fast and candidates who have the right attitude experience ability to work independently will be given preference along with Fixed Income experience. The manager is looking for an individual who can look at the process from a fresh perspectives not afraid to ask questions on how things are impacted takes initiative and do research on related topic and has solid experience on end-to-end process with solid documentation experience. MUST HAVE - Collateral Management - Fixed Income - computer science or engineer degree - Regulatory and Compliance - Ability to research Capital Market topics and prepare presentations - solid business analysis and documentation (BRD) - solid Excel Word Visio MS Project experience - knows how data system feeds flow from one system to other systems - Fixed Income experience - Settlements Prime Brokerage Business - Experience in settling General Collateral Repos Repos Basket of securities - Experience with Client Clearing or Indirect Clearing of Capital Markets products Nice to have - experience with financial industry or OTC (Interest Rate Credit FX) derivatives (Futures Options) - Working knowledge of Bloomberg Calypso Cash ION Anvil - Experience in Triparty Collateral Management Service - CFA or Accounting Background Responsibilities Analyze the current state in order to create the design definition and documentation of business requirements and associated technology and processes Participate in the identification development and implementation of new products services applications business processes and or operational efficiencies for Operations & Technology in a Financial Services firm Carry out business analysis and assist developers with business knowledge and subsequent testing of systems. Define document and get agreement on the scope of the solution change being delivered. Interface with Front Office Risk Managers Middle Office and Back Office in all aspects of business requirements gathering and development Plan facilitate and document requirements related workshops. Facilitate requirements reviews and document approvals. Analyze and document workflows requirements test cases and other material to ensure clear c communication of complex business concepts and scenarios. Identify changes in scope of work related to requirements and ensure appropriate controls are applied. Required to understand new business requirements conduct business analysis undertake QA testing and help streamline existing processes to improve efficiency Prepare data mapping and perform testing of applications. Knowledge of Collateral Management Systems will be an advantage. Develop in depth knowledge of applications and their interdependences. Analyze and manipulate large data sets. Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other technology teams within organization to solve problems and deliver solutions. Understand document and interpret complex user requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners other Technology Solutions organizations and external vendors to define the business and technical requirements at the program level. Review analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements documentation process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter project deliverables cost benefits analysis time line estimates scope and control. Develop use cases defining and documenting user procedures and workflows and how each class of user interacts with east system function. Ensure Business Recovery Plans are in place. Integrate technical solutions with the business environment recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability. Establish appropriate security levels for processes information exchange and system implementation.
