Our client is well established major bank looking AML Change Management Delivery Lead Location Downtown Toronto Duration 9 months contract with strong possibility of further extension Summary Change Management Delivery Lead LOB Enterprise AML Office - working in the AML PMO - fast paced working environmentDay to day - developing and executing the change management work on multiple projects - need to be able to align with the group s change methodology - higher level communication on status and change updates- booking and facilitating meetings with key stakeholders and project people - understanding impact of project - training and communication - will NEED to be able to physically write the communications - someone who is willing roll up their sleeves Manager s wants - wants to see change jargon used properly - building smooth transition plans- wants to see candidates who have come from BIG projects where they have been able to demonstrate their ability to work under high pressure - greater exposure - candidates who have held THE change role - the critical person in managing the change - experience with implementing technology would an asset. Must haves o Must be a senior change manager with at least 5-7 years of practical experience with strategic change management implementations (no junior inexperienced or theoretical change managers)o Experience with understanding and creating lasting behavioral change not just tactical training and communicationso Banking industry experienceo Disciplined approaches to change management methodologieso Strong and collaborative presenceNice to haves - Strong project management background- Strong facilitation experience- Calm under pressure- risk & compliance regulatory AML fraud experience - this would be a major asset - this is something. JD The Change Management Delivery Lead will play a key role in helping drive the AML Office projects and initiatives to implementation success. As a part of the AML Office Remediation and Transformation Team this person will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes systems and technology job roles and organization structures. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement. The Change Management Delivery Lead will work to enable faster adoption greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved. Responsibilities Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns Conduct readiness assessments (where appropriate) evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans including communication plan engagement plan training plan and resistance management plan Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders Be an active and visible coach to executives and leaders who are change sponsors Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption utilization and proficiency of individual changes Identify resistance and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success Work with project teams and the PMO to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan Work with project team communication training HR and OD specialists in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project initiative implementationsRequirements Bachelor s degree required 3-5 years change management experience with large scale change projects Familiarity with the Change Management methods approaches tools Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Excellent active listening skills Problem solving and root cause identification skills Must be a team player and able to work with and through others Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Proficient in Microsoft Office suite PowerPoint Excel Word Manage multiple and diverse stakeholders with varying needs Establish and manage communications processes protocols and plans Create communications pieces for diverse audiences in multiple ways Able to resolve complex issues and conflicting interests with diplomacy and recognize when issues need escalating Operate under intense pressureAdditional Certification in Change Management methodology Familiarity with Project Management approaches tools and phases of the project lifecycle Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time During Client Interview you will receive additional information variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
