Kentucky Health Benefits Assister

Closes Open Until FilledFull-time position with our Community Services Program. Duties will include providing outreach education and enrollment activities to individuals families and small businesses regarding health insurance plans qualified health plans insurance affordability programs and the Kentucky Health Benefits Exchange (KHBE). The position will primarily serve Butler Edmonson and Logan counties as well as the other counties in the BRADD region when required. The Assister will provide accurate and unbiased information to the consumer explain complex concepts in easily understandable terms and assist consumers in processing appeals on the Exchange. Travel is required for the position. Qualifications Minimum qualifications for this position are a high school diploma (or GED) an Associates or Bachelor Degree is preferred and a valid Kentucky Driver s License. Candidate must have a working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act must be able to work with a diverse population must satisfactorily complete the certification process which includes a background check must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include nights and weekends as needed and must have proficient computer skills including Excel and Word. Candidate must have the ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service. Salary Salary for this position will be based upon education and experience with an excellent benefit package.
