Beautiful Italian bombay armoire with 3 doors. Center door has original beveled mirror that is in excellent condition. Armoire s sides have bombe shape as well as front. Burled walnut with inlay design. 2 side doors open to 2 adjustable wooden shelves as well as clothes rods if desired to use instead of shelves shelves are removable. Center door opens to areas where a rod would have been suspended...rod missing but easily replaced with wood rod from a hardware store. Armoire knocks down once top is removed to facilitate moving. Beautiful bronze Louis XV escutcheons and hinges. Lock on left door has a separate key as lock has been replaced. Center door and right door open with another key. Armoire fits into rooms with 8 foot ceilings unlike some European armoires. Approx. 90in x 22in x 86in wide. Armoire value much more than asking price. Armoire is currently in storage. Compare to similar Italian armoires on eBay going from 2500 to 5000 plus shipping.
