One of our Major banking client is looking for Solutions Architect (Core Java Rabbit MQ Solace Spring Exp.) Location Downtown Toronto Duration 5 Months contract with possible extension Description Currently using Murex (3rd party product) as our trading platform for Equity Derivatives FX Options and Commodities and Wall Street for FX cash business. The candidate for this position will be responsible for designing and developing applications that sit outside of Murex and Wall Street but interact with the platform and database that is proprietary to both vendor platforms. Candidates will be involved in delivering new technology solutions and functionality to support the Equity Derivatives FX Cash & Options and Commodities businesses. This will include systems analysis design development build testing and documentation of new features and enhancements based on the requirements from the Front Middle Back office while working with other developers and business analysts. The candidate must have the ability to design develop test and document complex programs while working on multiple concurrent projects in an ongoing changing environment. Some possible projects include the design and development of the following Straight-through processes (STP) for uploading trade feeds Dodd Frank Real-time reporting Automated market data input process Process for computing VAR Stress P& L reports Various web applications Status tracking scheduling and monitoring applications Murex eTradePad enhancements The candidate will have technical leadership responsibility including directing and mentoring of junior members technical design and implementation management. MUST HAVE Minimum 10 years of design and application development experience Should have at least 6 months of experience using Docker for containerization Deep Experience with messaging solutions like RabbitMQ Solace and Spring Frameworks Core Integration Extensive experience with Web Development Web Services J2EE Struts AJAX In depth knowledge of and experience with Murex and Wall Street Trading Platform Should have experience in setting up multi layered complex containers using Docker Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills Ability to multi-task and work on multiple concurrent projects Flexibility to work in an ongoing changing environment Ability to work both in teams and individually Nice to have Financial knowledge specifically pricing valuations and the Greeks Experience with source control systems Unix Bash Scripting ANT and Maven Experience with C highly desired Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins Buildbot and TeamCity Deep experience with Core Java including Concurrency API XML SQL jBPM development Spring Hibernate Technical degree Computer Science or Math background highly desired PLEASE FILL THE BELOW SKILL-MATRIX CORE Java experience Yrs.
