Are you an avid comic book film video game or anime fan who loves to write COMIC TRASH is looking to expand our editorial team We are looking for passionate professional geek culture writers who and are comfortable working with a small start up company. We are looking for trustworthy individuals who have a strong work ethic and can contribute two to four articles a week. To be considered for a contributor position you must - Be working toward a college degree in English Journalism or Communications but relevant writing experience is accepted as well. - Have at least 1 year of writing experience (having your own blog counts too ) - Be able to work independently and find your own weekly story leads - Have daily access to the Internet and your own computer to work from. - Be familiar with a CMS (WordPress) - Have a professional attitude and be comfortable working from home Job responsibilities As a contributor you will be responsible for two to four articles a week to be posted directly into WordPress. You will be also be responsible for adding your own images and links into your articles and saving them to drafts for the Assistant Editor or Senior Editor to review and schedule them for publishing. We encourage sharing your articles on your social media accounts and the editorial staff also shares your articles on the COMIC TRASH Facebook and Twitter accounts. We ask for everyone to be comfortable with your work being shared publicly. You will also be responsible for running your leads by the Assistant Editor and Senior Editor each week via e-mail or our staff Facebook Group.
