Reference job 14-392. Rooms Division Manager Kihei HI Position Summary Manages Guest Services Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to work together to provide superior guest and owner service. In the absence of the General Manager or at the GM s direction is responsible for the efficient and economical functions of every aspect of the property. Position Responsibilities Management and supervision and coordination of a combination of more than one of the following departments Guest Services Housekeeping and Maintenance. Budget development revenue achievement and training of employees owner relations facilities maintenance risk management and reporting requirements. Revenue expense and payroll forecasting monitoring and reporting of variances to the projections recommendations for corrective action. Maintenance of the property management system (CLS). Property expert on the system setup and operation. Guest Services anticipating the guest s needs and helping to provide services and facilities that will exceed their expectations. Owner Services assisting with the liaison with individual unit owners and time-interval owners in the setup and service to their units. Helping to preserve their units and help in the solicitation of new units to the rental program. AOAO liaison communicating with the manager and their team in the association s role with property operation and maintenance. Human Resources coordinating the property new hires employee training documentation and the property expert in payroll human resources computer systems. Accounting property cash and accounting systems to assist the General Manager with all business controls and accountability. Perform other duties as assigned. Position qualifications HS Diploma or degree in Hospitality Industry or equivalent additional experience. Five or more years of experience in Hospitality Industry. Skills to develop monitor and evaluate employee goals objectives performance and make recommendations when necessary. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Computer experience and knowledge of MS Word Excel and Outlook. Opera experience a plus.
