Strategic Human Resources Manager

This position is located in Roswell NM candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to the area SUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resource Manager for a manufacturing client in the Roswell NM area to provide strategic leadership support at the plant level for all human resources policies procedures and programs. This individual will provide overall guidance to the HR function by overseeing training leadership development and mentorship benefits and compensation employee relations compliance health and safety and recruitment efforts at the plant level. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with and provide support to functional and department managers and supervisors to ensure all HR policies procedures and programs meet their needs Lead and drive efforts toward a high performance culture succession management organizational development and design and leadership development and assessment Ensure processes and procedures are communicated effectively and align with corporate objectives provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures Facilitates communication among employees and management guide managers and employees on problem solving dispute resolution and regulatory compliance Train coach and mentor HR staff to help them solve problems build relationships transfer HR knowledge and achieve business goals while promoting company culture Directs the needs assessment of training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving goals and objectives Market and deliver value-adding interventions pertaining to organizational development effectiveness and talent management Supervise and provide direction mentorship and coaching to direct and indirect reports engaged in HR tasks Conduct frontline leadership training with managers supervisors and group leaders oversee technical training programs in the plant Establish and lead recruiting and hiring practices and procedures for exempt and non-exempt level positions in the plant QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in business human resource management organizational development or a related field required PHR or SPHR certification preferred 10 years of progressive leadership experience in broad-based human resources roles with strong experience in organizational development required Experience in a 24x7 manufacturing environment required experience in food beverage pharmaceutical cosmetics or similar industry a plus Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and diverse populations Ability to plan and implement programs and projects within designated time frames Ability to be creative and identify & implement innovative approaches in leadership MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
