This vehicle is well known and famous in our area...Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri a k a THE HIPPIE VAN or THE DORF (Ford put back on the front of the van...backwards). The engine has been rebuilt therefore the exact mileage is unknown. Straight 6. Three (3) on the tree...manual. Kreger Rims. Good tires. One gauge does not work properly (speed) but all other gauges work fine. This van is all deck out and has brought much joy to my family and my son s friends. It s been taken care of however it doesn t like the extreme cold and therefore requires a little coaxing to fire up. You have to sweet talk her a little bit but she WILL start and cooperate. The motor is easily accessible being located between the front two bucket seats. This is just a cool ride. A GREAT young man s FIRST at age 16 (as it was for my son...now age 26) or perfect for the COLLECTOR. Everyone will come to know you you ll be the talk of the town. Great hit in parades events any endeavor needing a little attention-getter. Meet the magic man (attached to the front dash). He s always checking out and bobbing his head at the pretty Hula Girl with grass skirt who dances for him. She is located in the back. Crazy ride for crazy kids having a crazy time. Youth Everyone just loves The DORF...both young and old. The musical notes are Amazing Grace . Paired with Pink Floyd. lol He and his grandfather rebuilt the engine and did all the exterior & interior work. This was a two year project for them (after my son got out of school) and was his 1st vehicle at age 16. Now a married man and homeowner he is finally ready to list his treasure simply and only because life demands priority changes as we get older. You know. So grab it while the getting is good as I am not sure he will re-list it. This van is just too Cool Cool Cool and Hip Hip Hip The owner has and will always have...many GOOD memories of this van his first vehicle and how cool it was and still is.
