Location Barrie ON Duration 2 Years Salaried Contract with possible extension Description Reporting to the Chief Information Officer the Senior Project Manager is accountable for providing project management leadership of multi-department multi institution initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for leading and or providing due diligence regarding project implementation to ensure project charters plans are established with appropriate inclusion of stakeholders accountability regarding deliverables and tracking due diligence in regards to project outcomes. Responsibilities Managing co-ordinating project teams communicates the expectations clarifies roles and responsibilities manages conflict within the team creates & builds commitment and involvement of the team to the project. Developing maintaining and executing short term and long range general and detailed project plans which account for inter project dependencies for projects assigned Managing the day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects Reviewing high level deliverables across projects Managing scope and mitigates risk across projects. Monitors and mitigates the progress of projects to management and clients including creating and implementing plans of action to ensure the projects are delivered on time within budget and with scope intact Performing regular assessments of projects to ensure standardized methods are followed Enhancing accountability regarding project tracking and reporting deliverables and fiscal investments outcomes MUST HAVES Successfully completed a three year diploma degree in a relevant field of study that may include but is not limited to business finance IT or a related field Completion of a certification obtained through PMI is preferred Minimum 7 years experience in a project manager role leading complex multi department IT projects involving Web Portal and Shopping Cart Web Deliveries Strong analytical skill and ability to carry out due diligence relating to projects in a professional and constructive manner Strong facilitation and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
